I was able to find the various chimes, ding, chord wavs online, but I cannot rebuild the default scheme. Goto : Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > Windows Setup (tab) Pull down the list and double click "Multimedia". Pull down the list and unselect(or uncheck) the "Multimedia Sound Scheme".

I've played all the sounds in them, and I like the ocean one, but I after changing it in the scheme and dragging the scheme to the desktop, no change happens in the sounds. I don't want to change each and every one individually. I've always changed the sound scheme under System/Sound, never from the Schemes Dialog.

The sound "schemes" aren't saved as individual files, so looking for them on the CD won't help. They are just registry entries.
